A floor screeding project typically involves a series of prescriptive and performance specifications that focus on delivering an efficient, durable and sound sub-floor. To avoid further design work and additional on-site activities, specifications should be set out clearly at the onset of the project, structured according to different project stages and consistent across project documentation.
But where does one start? We would suggest that the foundations of a successful screeding project is largely down to clear communications and an understanding of a few basic concepts such as “Surface Regularity” or “Departure from Datum” and some obvious crack control measures just to name just a few.
With all of the above in mind we are pleased to announce our latest “Floor Screeding Essentials – Free Download” Guide, specifically aimed at the ContractScreed market.
